Een publicatie in samenwerking met Quirine Roozen en Francis Spek waarin onze ervaringen van het hebben van een paniekaanval wordt gevisualiseerd in een sieraad. Deze ervaringen worden samengebracht in deze publicatie. 

A publication in collaboration with Quirine Roozen and Francis Spek, in which our experiences with panic attacks are visualized through jewelry. These experiences come together in this publication.




REFLECTIONS OF THE HERE AND NOW

2026Elke dag bewegen wij ons van het ene moment naar het andere waarbij onze aandacht gericht is op de toekomst. Hierdoor verdwijnt het hier en nu en zijn omgeving naar de achtergrond. Reflections of the Here and Now is een installatie over de kleine schoonheden van het dagelijkse die we vaak missen en een plek waar de dagelijkse wereld tijdelijk op pauze wordt gezet.

Every day, we move from one moment to the next with our attention focused on the future. As a result, the here and now—and the environment around us—fade into the background. Reflections of the Here and Now is an installation about the beauty that can be found in everyday life that we often overlook,  a place where the demands of everyday life are temporarily set aside.

ILLUSTRATIONS OF UTRECHT
2025Wat begon als een manier om tot rust te komen veranderde in een liefdesbrief aan Utrecht. In een jaar tijd heb ik verschillende plekken van de stad getekend, die mij het gevoel van rust en vreugde gaven door hun schoonheid. Deze stille momenten leven nu voort als geïllustreerde ansichtkaarten en posters.

What started as a way to bring myself some peace turned into a love letter to Utrecht. Over  a year, I’ve been drawing places in the city that me  a sense of calm and joy through their beauty - and now, those quiet moments live on as illustrated postcards and posters.




HANS ZIMMER - A  VISUAL REPRESENTATION
2023Voortkomend uit mijn liefde voor filmmuziek maakte ik een visuele interpretatie van het werk van Hans Zimmer. Met mijn achtergrond als violist noteerde ik de muziek op een manier die afwijkt van traditionele bladmuziek, door een systeem te gebruiken dat voor iedereen toegankelijk is.

Coming from my love for film music, I created a visual interpretation of the greatest works of Hans Zimmer. With a background as a violinist, I notated the music in a way that differs from traditional sheet music, using a system that is accessible to everyone.

IT’S STRAWBERRY JAM
2025Geïnspireerd door de film ‘The Cube’ (1997), waarin de uitspraak “It’s strawberry jam” symbool staat voor vastzitten in een nachtmerrie, speelde het gevoel van verstikking een centrale rol voor mij. Door typografie op een canvas te gebruiken en iemand er letterlijk in te vangen, wilde ik het gevoel van benauwdheid en verstikking visualiseren.

Coming from the movie ‘The Cube’ (1997), where 'It’s strawberry jam' translates into being trapped in a nightmare, the feeling of suffocation played a central role in this project. By using typography on a canvas and literally trapping someone with it, I wanted to visualize the sensation of suffocating.

In collaboration with Stephan Keppel and students from HKU Media, a publication is being created that showcases all the hidden treasures of Utrecht.

We nodigen de bezoeker uit om een interactie aan te gaan met DataFace. Wanneer ze dat doen, doneren ze onbewust hun gezicht, dat vervolgens onderdeel wordt van onze database. Net als AI gebruiken wij deze database om iets ‘nieuws’ te creëren — onze eigen AG-bezoeker.

Deze installatie maakte deel uit van de tentoonstelling ‘AI Have Something to Say’, waarin studenten van HKU bezoekers uitnodigen om in gesprek te gaan over AI en samen nieuwe inzichten te ontdekken.

In samenwerking met Franco Soolsma, Uliana Gromyko en Mare Knegt.

We invite the visitor to interact with DataFace. If they do, the visitor unwittingly donates their face, which becomes part of our database. Just like AI, we use this database to create something 'new'—our own AG visitor.

This installation was part of the exhibition 'AI Have Something to Say,' where HKU students invite you to engage in a conversation about AI and discover new insights together.
